Job Description :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Temp – Perm Accounts Payable Accountant/Specialtist. This role will primarily focus on ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and vendor management. The ideal candidate will have experience using Tipalti for AP processes and Sage Intacct for general ledger activities. This temporary position is expected to transition to a permanent role based on performance and business needs. This role has a strong potential for growth within the company as the company grows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and review vendor invoices in Tipalti, ensuring accuracy and proper coding to the Sage Intacct GL system.
- Handle weekly payment runs, including ACH, wire transfers, and checks, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.
- Reconcile vendor statements and address any discrepancies or outstanding balances.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure proper approval workflows.
- Assist with month-end close processes, including reconciling AP-related accounts in Sage Intacct.
- Maintain vendor records, including W-9 collection and annual preparation of 1099s.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies related to accounts payable.
- Support ad-hoc financial projects and reporting as needed.
Qualifications:
- At least a year of Accounts Payable experience would be a plus.
- Hands-on experience with Tipalti and Sage Intacct is a plus but NOT REQUIRED.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of transactions efficiently in a rapidly changing and growing company
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, Use VLOOKUPs, etc.). The Controller and Assistant Controller are willing to train.
