Job Description :
Our professional services client is seeking a temp-to-perm financial analyst to start in January 2025. This role will provide support to project teams and the finance team, with duties including forecasting, variance analysis and financial modeling. The ideal candidate will have strong data analytical skills and a deep understanding of accounting/finance. This role is a hybrid role based in Nashville.
- Provide support to project teams across the strategic lines of business
- Perform financial forecasting and analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making processes
- Analyze financial data, trends, and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization
- Conduct variance analysis to explain discrepancies between actual and budgeted performance
- Assist in the development of financial models, sensitivity analysis, and scenario planning to assess potential outcomes and risks
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Proven experience as a Financial Analyst, Staff Accountant or Project Accountant (or similar role) preferably in a corporate finance or financial services environment.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and financial reporting tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, ERP systems, PowerBI).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and draw meaningful insights.
