Job Description :
Expanding Chattanooga area manufacturing company seeks a Supply Chain Manager. Excellent opportunity for a leader in the position, but also be part of a larger team.
Required Qualifications :


  • Establish best practice purchasing, logistics and other supply chain processes to achieve optimum inventory levels

  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers

  • Manage domestic and overseas sourcing activities

  • Work with various Departments to identify suppliers

  • Manage purchasing team based on company goals and objectives

  • Train and mentor existing and new byers to develop knowledge and skills

  • 3+ years supervisory experience

  • Supply Chain certification preferred

  • Extensive knowledge of global supply chain management

  • Experience with lean principles

  • Strong analytical, communication and management skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software and ERP systems

  • Travel in US and overseas as needed
