The primary responsibilities for this position will be to support the Accounting Manager and CFO by performing a broad range of financial accounting and reporting functions.
Responsibilities
· Process allocations, monthly accruals, amortization of prepaid expenses, fixed assets depreciation, and recording adjusting and reclassification journal entries as needed.
· Assist with full month-end close process with strict adherence to meet or exceed all deadlines.
· Balance sheet reconciliations and analysis.
· Daily cash and monthly bank account reconciliations and analysis.
· Perform general accounts analysis and reconciliations, including bank statements, fixed assets, employer's benefit costs, accruals, and prepaid expenses.
· Assist in preparing financial reports, such as financial statements, budget performance, and departmental financial reporting.
· Assist with schedules required to complete various taxes returns.
· Assist with budget preparation.
· Maintain a thorough working knowledge of the general ledger, billing, and accounts payable systems used for completion of queries and other ad hoc reporting for both accounting and other internal/external departments.
· Assist in the development and implementation of automation of manual processes or new procedures and features to improve department efficiency and workflow.
· Support annual external audit by preparing schedules, documentation and explanations to support transactions.
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
· Experience with MS Dynamics GP Great Plains required.
· Experience with a CRM tool is a plus.
