Job Summary
The Staff Accountant will report to the senior accountant and assistant controller. The position will monitor and review clinical and corporate accounting activities including account reconciliation, accruals, and other various month-end procedures. Duties and Responsibilities
· Assisting with general ledger maintenance by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and verifying system transactions.
· Performing general ledger account variance analysis, investigating and resolving issues to ensure an accurate month-end close. Documenting significant budget to actual variances for assigned accounts.
· Researching technical issues and recommend policy to ensure integrity of financial reporting.
· Supporting an environment of continuous improvement by evaluating and enhancing current accounting practices and process flows.
· Performing other special projects as assigned.

Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
· Up to two years experience in generally accepted accounting principles
· Proficiency in MS Office
· Proficiency in NetSuite is a HUGE plus
· MS Excel minimum: VLOOKUP, PivotTable, XLOOKUP
· Equivalent combination of education and experience, acceptable.
