• Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close process.


• Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank accounts.


• Track capex for capital projects through conversion to fixed assets.


• Maintain and reconcile depreciation of fixed assets.


• Prepare and file sales/use tax returns, census reports and other external filings.


• Assist with periodic audits.


• Assist with weekly cash forecasting (estimate collections, track lender borrowing).


• Prepare aging reports and analysis.


• Prepare plant reports.


• Assist with cost accounting projects.


• Post daily cash receipts.


• Create/Post invoices (CMs, DMs) in the system and remit to customers.


• Follow up with customers on past dues/maintain spreadsheet on open/past due invoices.


• Month-end reconciliation confirming that all orders have been invoiced.

Minimum requirements include:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.


• At least 2-3 years of accounting experience, manufacturing experience preferred.


• Detail oriented with superior organizational, prioritizing and multi-tasking abilities.


• Ability to accurately prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports.


• Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.


• Excellent communication skills and high confidence in stating professional opinions.


• An understanding of GAAP accounting and general accounting concepts.


• Strong Excel skills
