Job Description :

Our client is searching for a motivated Manager or Senior Manager to join their family-oriented team. The company provides a great culture in the office and is looking for someone with a passion for excellence while still enjoying a great work/life balance. They provide ½ days off one Friday per month in the summer and provide generous PTO and holiday time, enforcing their family friendly model.  This role includes review of financial statements prepared by staff as well as identifying and implementing planning and savings strategies.  The position will also participate in the monitoring and development of staff at varying experience levels. This role will work hand in hand with the VP of Tax as well as the Owner on providing a high level of customer service and client experience.



•       Provide technical review of outgoing financial information for clients, including financial statements, analysis, budgets, forecasts and other ad hoc financial information

•       Develop KPIs to aid in the understanding of financial information to the client

•       Serve as a technical resource to the firm and its clients.

•       Research complex issues and offer guidance and resolutions.

•       Develop and implement processes and procedures to optimize efficiency.

•       Demonstrate the ability to manage time and prioritize multiple projects and demands.

•       Stay abreast of developments and changes in law and accounting procedures.

•       Maintain public certification and adequate Continuing Professional Education credits.

Required Qualifications :

•       Certified Public Accountant highly preferred

•       3+ years of public accounting experience, including supervisory, highly preferred

•       Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required with Master of Accountancy preferred

•       Thorough knowledge of the financial reporting process

•       Excellent written/oral communication skills

•       Ability to adapt style and communication to the needs and composition of the audience
