Senior GL Accountant-13836
Responsibilities
· Continuously learn, share, and implement improvements in all processes and responsibilities as needed to enhance effectiveness of providing world class service and support.
· Coordinates closing of AP at month-end, including final reconciliations and accruals.
· Develop and maintain KPIs to monitor the performance and efficiency of direct reports.
· Oversees employee expense reimbursement process including training of sales and support department team members.
· Provide lead support to AP Staff.
· Performs treasury functions including bank reconciliation.
· Maintenance of G/L to include set up in the system, proper coding of transactions, reconciliation of assigned accounts and data integrity.
· Assist with month end closing to include journal entries, allocations, and account analysis as needed.
· Work with other departments to ensure compliance with accounting policies and report problems and resolutions to management.
· Ensure all risk management and financial guidelines are adhered to and exceptions documented and approved.
· Assist in the preparation of external financial audits or internal audits by providing necessary reports, reconciliations, and documentation as required.
· Complete special projects and other assignments as delegated by management.
· Provide proactive input for efficient process changes, enhancements, and modifications to facilitate the implementation of new or improved business processes.
· Be responsible and provide ongoing support to the leasing team, sales, marketing, and business development personnel.
· Develop strong working relationships with operational team members.
· Ensure non-disclosure of proprietary information.

Qualifications
· BA/BS degree in accounting or related field required.
· CPA or CPA eligible strongly preferred.
· 4+ years of relevant experience.
· Public Accounting experience strongly preferred.
· Strong Microsoft Office skills, including advanced Excel skills.
· Aptitude for developing and maintaining a thorough working knowledge of accounting software and systems. Karmak, SalesForce, and Domo experience is preferred.
· Expert knowledge of accounting and financial principles, regulations and best practices.
· Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
· Proficient with data analysis, critical thinking and problem-solving.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
