Our Cool Spring healthcare client has an immediate need for a director level FP&A resource to assist the client with year-end analysis duties and efforts to implement a new forecasting tool. This consultant must be able to immediately hit the ground running.

• Periodically prepare budgets and forecasts of the company’s financial statements primarily using Microsoft Excel-based models, schedules, and analyses. 


• Work with operating managers throughout the company to develop, implement, and monitor performance relative to the company’s budgets and forecasts. 


• Assist in the monthly accounting close and periodically provide analysis of the company’s consolidated financial statements and related information. 


• Develop and implement information and analyses in support of pricing and product initiatives. 


• Prepare ads hoc reports and analyses. 


• Identify and address process improvement opportunities and efficiencies. 

• Extensive Budgeting & Forecasting experience – around 10 years plus


• Experience at a director/VP of FP&A level


• Able to work heavy hours


• 4-8 weeks commitment


• Advanced Excel skills


• Prior experience implementing forecasting tools such as adaptive insights would be a major plus


• Skilled in financial statement construction, financial modeling, and analysis of financial and other quantitative information.


• Skilled in problem solving, organization, and project management.


• Ability to work cross-functionally to resolve complex issues. 


• Ability to manage multiple timelines and meet deadlines. 


• Master’s degree in business, finance, or accounting. 


• Certified Public Accountant or similar certification.
