Job Description :
The Senior Accountant will play an important and highly visible role in the ongoing integration of existing and newly acquired firms into the company's structure as a Partner Firm under USRBP. These integration responsibilities will require frequent interactions with personnel at the National Office and other Partner Firms. Integration responsibilities will include supporting the adoption of USRBP financial reporting standards, the integration of ERP and other financial reporting tools, and the alignment of policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting
- Working with the Accounting Manager, support the month end close process for TRPC and related Partner Firms
- Work through a set of month end close journal entries with Staff Accountants and Offshore Teams
- Assist with the preparation of all financial reports, prepare journal entries, balance sheet and bank reconciliations
- Record intercompany entries and ensure proper elimination
- Gain exposure to integrating the accounting of newly acquired firms[RM1] [DS2]
- Be an active member in the company’s financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting process
- Support technical accounting research for specific transactions
- Provide budget to actual variance explanations
- Leadership & Teamwork
- Train and support team members working from the India Service Center
- Develop a strong working relationship with key staff in other departments
- Play a part in the short- and long-term departmental goals, objectives and procedures
Required Qualifications :
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
- A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
- Prior Microsoft SL accounting software experience or comparable GL experience
- Experience in Financial Service or related industry
- Experience working with offshore entities preferred
- Experience with consolidations preferred
Desired Skills:
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections
- Have a proficiency with numbers, work well with people, anticipate impacts of workload/issues to team deadlines, and have a very positive work attitude including willing to work longer hours during peak periods
- Ability to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects
- Advanced proficiency level with Microsoft software, including but not limited to: Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word
- Successfully and simultaneously manage multiple tasks and meet multiple deadlines
- Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with others
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects
