Job Summary
General accounting functions to track entity financial activity, access company policy compliance and financial analysis.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitors and records financial transactions in accounting software.*
- Effectively communicates with team members to ensure all policies are being followed.*
- Tracks and reports activity from all financial transactions.*
- Tracks transactions through a multiple computer software programs.*
- Processes and tracks all credits accurately and timely.*
- Manages SaaS contract intake, ensuring contract setup and billing within ERP aligns with ASC 606.
- Manages Commission expenses related to SaaS contract revenue to calculate payments due and recognize the expense according to ASC 606.
- Processes all accounts receivables & clears including daily bank deposits.*
- Reads and follows accounting procedure and policy manuals (Standard Operating Procedures).*
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Secondary supervision of Accounting team in the Accounting Department.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications
Reasoning Ability
· Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
· Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills
· To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word, Excel, Netsuite, Paychex, Google Suite.
Education/Experience
· Bachelor's degree (B. A. / B. S.) from four-year college or university; or six to eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Specialized Training
