Our client, a specialty manufacturer based in Knoxville, has an immediate need for an experienced Quality Engineer.  The successful candidate will lead the company's quality function and will be the first point of contact with customers regarding quality concerns, including onsite visits.  Specific responsibilities will include developing ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 procedures and QMS within the organization.  High visibility role with a small but growing company.  Salary $80-85K with bonus potential and excellent benefits.   

Minimum requirements include a BS degree in Engineering with a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience as a Quality Engineer (PPaP approval, leading supplier audits, root cause and corrective action plans, etc.).  Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred.  Travel 10%-25% (domestic and international).
