Job Description :








The Physician Group Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing the medical and administrative operation of the physician practices.  They supervise both the clinical and administrative staff.  They are responsible for setting up policies and procedures; updating and retaining medical records; interacting with patients regarding billing and setting appointments; and work with insurance companies and regulatory agencies.  The are responsible for auditing medical procedures, treatments, and records to be sure that the patient care provided by the practice is safe, effective, and in accordance with established medical standards.


 








The Physician Group Practice Manager maintains efficient day to day operations of the medical practice, meets profitability goals, improves provider and patient satisfaction and contributes to market growth and development.  The oversee and manage the daily operations of the physician offices including staff scheduling, cash reconciliation, charge enty, and operational checks and balances.  They maintain efficient telephone triage, appointment scheduling, registration, patient flow and discharge procedures to enhance patient satisfaction and physician productivity.  The provide recommendations and follow up actions to operational ineficiencies.  They assist with strategic planning and resouce allocation.  They provide monthly reporting and recommendations or action plans onany issues; interpret financial reports/data to effectively manage the office and inform physicians about the business.  They assure that A/R is optimally liquidated, denials are minimized, refunds are issued, and customer service is conducted appropriately.


Required Qualifications :








































JOB QUALIFICATIONS    
Education:         High school diploma or equivalent    
Licensure:          Current BCLS certification    
Experience:        2 years related experience preferred    
Skills:                 Ability to communicate with doctors, patients, and visitors.  The employee  
must demonstrate the knowledge and the skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age  
of the patient served on his or her assigned unit. Must have basic computer skills.
