Job Description :

The HR Director is a hands-on position responsible for defining and implementing a division Human Resources strategy aligned with overall business, culture, talent, and organization objectives. The position acts as a business partner to division management on human resource-related issues, as well as an employee champion. The role assesses and anticipates HR-related needs, communicates proactively with the Corporate HR department and business management, and develops integrated solutions. The position formulates and leverages partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees.

Some specific duties include:

- Provide guidance to employees in all areas of HR. Advise and counsel employees on HR policies, procedures and practices. Ensure compliance with all Company policies, consistent with Company objectives and government regulations

- Coordinate with Talent Acquisition team and business to define hiring needs, support sourcing and selection, train and coach hiring managers and other interviewers, ensuring strong talent pipeline and retention.

 Handle employee relations issues including investigations and complaints in accordance with company investigation practices and progressive discipline policy.

- Work with Regional Management in coordination with corporate HR in developing succession plan and development plans for key talent. Provide coaching and development to employees and managers including feedback sessions and performance improvement plans.

- Participate in design and delivery of HR related training programs; assist in the selection of participants for training programs. Conduct/facilitate training. Conduct training needs assessments.

- Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, Local regulations and internal policies, procedures and communication.

Required Qualifications :

  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and/or HRIS systems.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Exceptional communication skills for documentation and presentations

  • Proven exceptional interpersonal skills with demonstrated success in working with and developing cooperative relationships with team members at all levels.

  • The ability to build and maintain solid relationships with managers and provide a high-touch, high-quality experience for all team members.

  • Experience coordinating diversity recruitment efforts/initiatives.

  • Excellent detail orientation and organizational skills.

  • Knowledge of HR policies and procedures, legal compliance and employment laws.

  • Exceptional follow-through skills.

  • Highest level of confidentiality.

  • Assertive, self-starter, requiring minimal supervision.
