Job Description :

Our client, an American producer, is searching for a FP&A Systems Analyst/Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate is a highly self-motivated individual with a passion for data analytics and data aggregation. The position’s key responsibilities are to develop, administer and maintain systems and databases across the organization, including FP&A. A sound foundation in Information Systems and Finance will lead to success in this role. Solid communication skills, a desire to improve already functioning systems & processes, multitasking and a desire to dig deep into the problem are key traits to be successful in this role. The FP&A Systems Analyst will work primarily within FP&A with the expectation they will support cross-functional teams throughout the organization. The role will report directly to the VP of Economic Analysis & Strategic Planning. This is a hybrid position located in Franklin, TN.


 


Responsibilities:



  • Function as a liaison between an IT System Administrator and FP&A on Oracle Hyperion EPSCS Applications to ensure ongoing system integrity and functionality of our cloud system

  • Design and develop EPBCS application objects, including outlines, business rules, calculation scripts and partitions

  • Design, develop and/or maintain Smart View Templates for users that enable streamlining of analytics and reporting for both planning and reporting

  • Work with and provide support to stakeholders in FP&A and cross-functional financial business teams to employ various dashboards, financial models, and other analytics to get a 360 view of company financial performance

  • Provide training and developmental support for broader finance team to drive change management

  • Proactively seek out opportunities to alter/enhance/improve current reporting processes to gain efficiency, without sacrificing accuracy

  • Support and perform traditional FP&A responsibilities including month-end processes, budgets, forecasts and other FP&A duties as assigned


Required Qualifications :


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Information Systems

  • Minimum 3 years of experience or related experience

  • Highly proficient in Excel, Power BI

  • Skillset or desire/ability to learn financial systems such as Oracle EPBCS, Smart View, Hubble GL Wand, Alteryx, Power BI Power Query, Power Automate, and others as the function necessitates

  • Advanced computer languages such as Python, VBA, or other a plus

  • MBA, CPA or CMA helpful, but not required

  • Outstanding analytical capabilities and attention to details are a must

  • Excellent financial modeling skills, including integrated 3 statement financial models

  • A passion for financial systems and processes

  • Superior communication skills, the capability of breaking down complex technical/financial situations into understandable, every language

  • Ability to communicate well with all levels throughout the organization

  • Experience in financial accounting and/or reporting and a good understanding of how different outputs interact with each other
