Position Purpose:
The Financial Systems Analyst plays a key role in enhancing and optimizing our reporting capabilities to enable faster decision-making and ensure operational efficiency. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams, analyzes complex financial data, and drives strategic initiatives to transform the way finance leverages technology.
Position Responsibilities:
· Continuously learn, share, and implement improvements in all processes and responsibilities as needed to enhance quality and productivity.
· Build and analyze financial and operational reports within prescribed deadlines and ad hoc.
· Work with a variety of data sources and identify incomplete or inaccurate data, identify root causes, and resolve discrepancies.
· Analyze existing financial systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization. Makes recommendations regarding emerging technologies in support of process automation and continuous improvement.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and execution within financial systems.
· Lead and perform testing to ensure accuracy and reliability of financial data in conjunction with system upgrades, integrations, and implementations.
· Provide end-user support and training to ensure effective utilization of financial systems and tools.
· Partner with IT teams to troubleshoot issues, implement solutions, and ensure the integrity of financial data.
· Performs maintenance, updates configurations, and administrative duties.
· Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for financial systems, including workflows, user guides, and training materials.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or Information Systems or equivalent experience
· 3+ years’ of implementing and maintaining production applications with specific knowledge in record to report, accounts payable, fixed assets, and COS transactions.
· Preferred exposure with Agile (Scrum) development methodology and project management
· Experience in Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent.
· Experience in ETL tools.
· Deep and practical experience in using business intelligence software programs (Alteryx, Tableau), databases, and multiple platforms for data-driven reporting.
· Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques including Python, SQL, and VBA/Excel
· Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Principles of relational databases and report writing to analyze, manipulate, and generate reports from databases.
· Customer-service mindset and ability to balance the needs of multiple stakeholders.
· Salesforce, Databricks, and DOMO exposure preferred but not required.
· Understanding of financial statements and general accounting processes.
