Job Description :

Roles & responsibilities



  • Developing and implementing pricing strategies that enhance profitability

  • Evaluate proposed deal commercials and suggest optimal pricing evaluating volume, resource allocation, delivery mix and market benchmarks

  • Strategic finance partner in leading pricing discussions with Operations & Finance team

  • Play a key role in business decisions by understanding the business metrics, carrying out financial analysis and provide strategic inputs relating to deal metrics

  • Reviewing deal pricing, deal structuring and drive accountability in pricing reviews and approvals as part of the sales and business development initiatives



  • Driving deal creativity & helping transform sales efforts into new financial models, and finding innovative ways to drive growth (fixed price, outcome-based deals)

  • Streamlining deal modelling, price development and efficient approval workflow

  • Driving monthly account reviews, margin analysis, price analysis and margin improvement plans

  • Creating and tracking pricing related metrics, bid vs. did analysis and provide insights


Required Qualifications :

Required Skills



  • Prior experience in a similar role including solid exposure to managing pricing processes, implementing pricing initiatives and creating pricing process documentation.

  • Pricing, Deal Evaluation and Commercial negotiations for 5 years in IT or services industry

  • Influencing skills and strong understanding of pricing strategies and concepts

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

  • Relevant Experience in Business Finance or Commercial finance

  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial impact on revenue and profitability

  • Excellent Knowledge of Contract Commercials.

  • Strong analytical skills, managing data and attention to detail

  • 10-12 years of experience

  • Self-starter, ability to work independently.

  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office especially Excel & PowerPoint

  • Readiness to work in a dynamic environment


 


Desired Skills



  • Qualification : MBA finance / CA / CFA

  • Data visualization – ability to work in Tableau/Spotfire/Qlikview

  • Six-Sigma Greenbelt+ certification or equivalent process improvement background preferred
