Job Description :
Responsibilities
- Manage ASC 842, Lease Accounting within Visual Lease
- Manage completion of month-end accounting close processes
- Evaluate and review credit card activity to ensure adherence to TGS policies, proper approvals, etc.
- Coordinate the timely preparation and distribution of financial reports, critically review these reports to ensure accuracy and reliability and define all variances.
- Take the initiative to research and implement new accounting topics as the Company encounters new subject matters.
- Work with COO, CEO, CFO, District Managers and School Directors on timely completion of annual budgets
- Monitor all report data on an ongoing basis.
- Monitor budget vs. actual and covenant compliance at the school level and investigate/communicate any material variances.
- Cash planning and forecasting at the school and corporate level.
- Monitor debt covenants in place and forecast compliance.
- Participate and manage the annual audit of financial statements and preparation of income tax returns.
- Review state and federal tax matters that could impact the company.
- Monitor all financial covenants and forecast projected compliance.
- Continually work with management team members to assess controls, and gain efficiencies and improvements for TGS
- Work with directors and assistant directors as needed to support their roles.
- Work closely with the SVP of Development to track and submit invoices and payment support for reimbursement on a monthly basis as well as create pro forma modeling for new school analysis
- Provide exceptional customer service to all members, financial partners, landlords and staff.

- Assist with all other special tasks and projects as directed by management.
Required Qualifications :
- BS/BA in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and technical accounting
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong PC skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information.
