Job Description :
Our client in La Vergne, TN is seeking a Controller. This position will oversee all financial and accounting functions including but not limited to billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit and collections, budgeting, and other functions.
Essential Functions:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting functions
- Prepare accurate monthly and annual reporting
- Coordination of the annual audit process
- Establish and improve processes and policies
- Manage a team of accounting professionals
- Special projects as needed
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree required
- CPA highly preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong managerial and leadership experience
- Dealership experience preferred
- Proven track record in process improvement and streamlining accounting & reporting procedures
- Must be self-motivated
- Team oriented
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work well under pressure
Travel Requirements: Ability to travel 15% of the time or as needed
