Job Description :
Our client is growing and a stable manufacturing company looking to add a CNC Mill Operator for the 2nd Shift. Excellent opportunity to grow with the Company. The company offers a competitive benefit package along with a 4 day work week with no rotating shifts.
Required Qualifications :

- Ability to perform intermediate CNC Lathe operations working from blueprints, drawings and procedures
- Set up the machines to process the raw materials and adjust tool and work offsets
- Prepare the raw materials for parts manufacturing and review prints / parts plans to ensure the correct materials are being used
- Use part drawings to determine part profiles and make adjustments as required
- Operate overhead crane for lifting and moving materials
- Uphold all Workplace Policies, Procedures and Safety Protocols
- Address and resolve reported defective materials, spills or questionable conditions within your department
- Complete all paperwork neatly and accurately
- Ability to read and interpret layout details and parts lists, as well as use tape measure and calipers
- Be punctual, dependable and energetic while maintaining a high level of attention to detail as you multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced environment
- Work independently or as part of a team
- Ensure ongoing compliance in the safe operation of all equipment including cranes, hoists and other material handling devices
- Housekeeping of department throughout the day by sweeping and decluttering machine areas
- Pass a forklift test for certification with TAG, as required
- Lift and handle heavy materials up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Metal industry or Construction experience is not required, but highly preferred
- 3-5 year relevant experience with steel machining mills, lathes and drills
- Basic programming skills in Fanuc style controls
