Job Description :

The Claim Advocate is a client facing opportunity to work with the clients policyholder clients to accurately andpromptly administer, track, analyze, and report claim financial activity. In this role, you will be supporting insurance recovery on multi‐million‐dollar books of business in collaboration with team members. You will advocate for clients by interacting with multiple stakeholders including law firms, accounting firms, and insurers. The client has an excellent training program, so no insurance experience is necessary. However, we are

recruiting at various levels based upon your experience in insurance, claims, billing and/or accounts



Essential Functions – more responsibilities may be assigned

  • Receive legal and other claim‐related bills; enter in tracking; perform / confirm audit for

  • compliance with guidelines.

  • Using spreadsheet models, allocate legal defense expense and send legal bills for payment.

  • Prepare monthly accrual for in‐process bills; deliver & present to clients’ Finance teams.

  • Track payments and support law firm / vendor efforts to resolve outstanding receivables.

  • Maintain updated payment and receivable records; prepare reports and trends.

  • Organize and manage expense‐related documentation.

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree: accounting or business major is a plus.

  • Effective organizer who can prioritize and execute tasks.

  •  Initiative‐taker who can work independently.

  • Able to apply technology, especially Microsoft Excel, and knowledge to solve business problems.

  • Excellent people skills and communication ability, especially when presenting complex

  • information.

  •  Analytical and meticulous
