Job Summary
The CFO will be responsible for managing the financial health of the company, providing strategic direction, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role involves overseeing budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and investment activities, as well as managing relationships with banks, investors, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
· Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
· Budget Management: Oversee the budgeting process, ensuring accurate forecasting and resource allocation across projects.
· Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to the executive team and board of directors, highlighting key performance indicators and financial trends.
· Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and ensure liquidity for ongoing and upcoming projects.
· Risk Management: Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
· Investment Oversight: Evaluate and manage investments in new projects, ensuring alignment with company strategy and risk appetite.
· Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
· Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with banks, investors, and other financial partners.

Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
· Proven experience as a CFO or similar financial leadership role, preferably in construction or property management.
· Familiarity with affordable housing, tax credits, etc.
· Experience in a real estate PE firm preferred, but not required
· Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
· Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.

· Proficient in financial software and tools.
