Job Description :

The CFO will partner with the CEO, the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), and the Company’s Board of Directors to play an integral role in developing strategic and associated operating priorities, and supporting execution against such priorities, including but not limited to developing and managing internal financial processes and controls, the Company’s finance, accounting and reporting functions, and assisting with M&A activities. The CFO must demonstrate a history of exceptional leadership in preparing organizations to scale rapidly.



Essential Job Functions

• Partner with the CEO and ELT to develop key strategic and operating priorities and build and maintain strong relationships with the Board of Directors and investors.
• Lead accounting, finance, cash management, reporting, planning and analytics, tax compliance, treasury management, budgeting, financial reporting forecasting including execution of the annual budget process as well as monthly operating and capex forecasting.
• Develop KPIs and monitor trends, linking performance to value creation and strategic priorties.
• Build and lead a best-in-class accounting and finance department by promoting best practices, instilling a culture of collaboration, ensuring company leadership has a clear understanding of financial performance and goals, and identifying opportunities to optimize performance.
• Model business unit economics, revenue, and cost drivers, and create actionable insights that drive operational efficiencies across the organization.
• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual preparation and presentation of financial reports to facilitate internal decision support and external reporting (Bank and Board).
• Manage the company’s banking relationships, and partner with the CEO to lead growth financing activities.
• Evaluate customized client pricing for larger, multi-service line opportunities. In partnership with the controller.
• Oversee the monthly 10-day close procedures to comply with close and reporting requirements.
• Oversee and manage income tax and sales and use tax returns and compliance.
• Design and implement best practices for proper and consistent internal controls.
• Manage independent audit process and tax provider relationships.


Required Qualifications :
Knowledge & Skills


Education & Experience
• Minimum of 10+ years in finance and accounting leadership roles(s), characterized by progressively increased job scope/responsibility.
• Master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.


Special Skills & Knowledge
• Previous CFO & Private Equity experience a plus.
• Merger & Acquisition experience, including transaction structuring, negotiation and integration planning/execution.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Broad understanding of fundamental business-oriented legal concepts.


Licenses, Certifications, etc.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent preferred.
• Accounting and Finance Teams led by the Controller.
• 10-15% travel
• Hybrid role based in Franklin, TN, with multiple days a week in-office.
