Job Description :

Our client is a dynamic marine seating and interiors designer/builder based in West Tennessee with operations also in Arkansas and Illinois has an immediate opening for a newly created position of Chief Financial Officer.   The company is a successful private business entering its 62nd year of a rich history of building high quality interiors for a wide array of boatbuilder customers and offering a broad line of aftermarket marine, industrial and specialty seating.  The company is a recognized leader in custom marine seating and interiors, and it has a stable and diverse customer base of some of the best recognized and most respected companies in the marine industry. The CFO will report to the company’s President and will have primary oversight for the financial management and reporting of the organization

Required Qualifications :

  • Devise and provide management and staff with information and/or reports providing clear insights into all functional departments of the business including manufacturing, purchasing, inventory, quality assurance, sales, marketing, customer support, and warranty among others

  • Serve as a core part of the senior management team providing input into strategic directions, capital expenditures, goal setting, budgets and key initiatives

  • Manage all day-to-day accounting and finance functions and interface with outside vendors for finance, treasury, audit, tax, risk, legal, municipal relationships and other related functions.  The company’s accounting and control staff includes a [controller, AP manager, AR manager and an IT support person.]

  • Oversee IT and systems upgrades, support and selection

  • Provide timely, concise and accurate informative reporting to owners, board members and lenders

  • Participate in meetings with the board of directors and have input on all major business decisions. 

  • Oversee or participate in special projects from time to time
