Job Description :

Our client in Nashville, TN is seeking a CFO to manage and direct the organization's Accounting and IT departments and for seeking and maintaining the most cost effective contracts and agreements with providers of the Company's banking, auditing and other financial services needs. Primary responsibilities include:



  1. Oversees and directs all financial aspects of the organization’s products and services.

  2. Appraises the organization’s financial position and issues periodic reports on the organization’s financial stability, liquidity, and growth.

  3. Ensures all financial activities and operations are carried out in compliance with local, state and federal regulations and laws.

  4. Directs the preparation of budgets based on broad corporate goals and growth objectives.

  5. Oversees the financial reporting of the Company to ensure reporting accuracy and integrity of reports presented to lenders and to the owners.

  6. Establishes, maintains contacts, and manages relationships with financial institutions.

  7. Directs the banking needs of the Company by working with current bankers while assessing the availability of other borrowing options; works to minimize the Company’s net interest costs; ensures financial covenant compliance issues are quickly and effectively addressed.

  8. Maintains a good working relationship with the Company’s outside CPA firm and is open to recommending a change to another firm if advisable.

  9. Oversees and manages the Accounting and IT departments.

  10. Ensures the responsibilities, authorities, and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined and understood.

  11. Attends owners’ meetings as requested to present pertinent financial information.

  12. Ensures proper handling and distribution of company funds.

  13. Maintains confidentiality of company, client, employee and vendor information.

  14. Reacts productively to change.

  15. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field is required; licensed CPA; a minimum of ten (10) years financial management
