The Staff Accountant will be working under the direct supervision of a Senior Accountant and will spend a majority of time working on site at our clients' offices, which, in most cases are located in the area of the LBMC offices.  Employees will have the opportunity to work with clients in a wide variety of industries, ranging in size from start-up entities to large corporations.

The Staff Accountant will utilize standardized firm practices to audit our clients' processes and procedures in established areas in order to assess risk and evaluate efficiency and effectiveness.  Areas that would be audited include:

• cash


• accounts receivables


• inventories


• property and equipment


• accounts payable


• long-term debt


• accrued expenses


• equity


• revenues


• expenses


• internal controls


• analytical procedures.


• Eligible to sit for CPA Exam (150 hours)
