Accounting Transformation Consultant-14186
Our client, a Fortune 500 company, is undertaking a strategic initiative to consolidate and enhance its financial operations. They are seeking an Accounting Transformation Consultant to integrate a subsidiary's accounts receivable processes into the primary operational framework. This seasoned systems-oriented accountant will be instrumental in analyzing and merging differing business processes and systems, addressing complex challenges that arise during the integration. This role demands a high level of independence and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering results that align with the company's strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the integration of disparate accounting processes and systems from the subsidiary into the main framework.
- Perform detailed reconciliations of general ledger accounts and ensure accurate accounting data setups.
- Collaborate closely with internal accounting operations teams to resolve integration issues.
- Utilize advanced technological tools to streamline and improve accounting practices.
- At least 10 years of experience in system-oriented accounting, ideally within large corporations or consulting environments.
- Strong technical proficiency, including experience with backend accounting systems and data analysis tools.
- Excellent business analyst skills, with a track record of managing and executing large-scale projects.
- Hands-on experience with general ledger reconciliations and data validation.
- Proficiency in Alteryx (aka Knime) is highly preferred, with additional skills in SQL and Snowflake being beneficial.
- Independent problem-solver with a robust approach to challenges and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Work Arrangement:
This project-based role offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring three days per week in the Brentwood office and the flexibility to work remotely during the rest of the week.
