Job Description :
Small but growing Knoxville company has an immediate need for an Accountant/Bookkeeper. Specific responsibilities will include month-end and year-end closing, bank/account reconciliations, journal entries, payroll, and other responsibilities as assigned by the corporate Controller. Starting salary $45-50K depending on experience.
Required Qualifications :
Minimum requirements include an AS Degree in Business plus at least 5 years' full-charge bookkeeping or corporate accounting experience. Must be an organized self-starter with demonstrated ability to handle accounting for multiple companies in QuickBooks. Some knowledge of construction accounting (budgets, draws, etc.) would be a plus. A stable work history and exceptional references are also required.
