Job Description :
Essential Job Functions
This company expects their employees to promote an atmosphere of teamwork. Therefore, the following list of duties is not all-inclusive:
- Prepare and submit financial reports on a timely basis as required by the Director of Finance, the company, and governmental agencies.
- Accumulate and maintain, in an organized manner, pertinent documentation relating to and support all entries on the financial statements.
- Accumulate and maintain, in an organized manner, pertinent documentation relating to and support all balance sheet accounts.
- Assist with preparation of budgets and cash flow statements
- Ensure timely and accurate information for cost reporting, taxes, and audits
- Facilitate support of internal audits
- Assist with and support external audits
- Update and maintain fixed asset schedules
- Utilize Applied Epic, a cloud-based software application, to automate insurance business financial reporting.
- Complies with compliance and ethics Code of Conduct
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications
- Accounting, Finance, or related business degree
- Organized and detailed in work performance.
- Good communication skills with excellent self-discipline and patience
- Proficient at MS Excel and General Ledger accounting software
- Perform work tasks within the physical demand requirements as outlined below.
- Perform Essential Duties as outlined above.
- Previous experience working with Applied EPIC (a cloud based system that is used to automate insurance business financial reporting)
